Blossom in Bath is a joint venture run by myself and Noreen Hart. Between us we have over half a decade of experience supporting families, and Noreen brings her immense wisdom as a mother, grandmother, NCT facilitator, perinatal campaigner and hypnobirthing practitioner. For many years we have run Early Mothering together, and in the last 3 years, the pregnancy cafe, early pregnancy workshops, antenatal sessions and also our online sessions through Blossom antenatal as well. Much of what we offer is free or low cost, and we feel passionately about connecting families and creating community. I am so very fond of every family with whom our paths have crossed over the years. It really does take a village to raise a child and some of the friendships and connections made are so incredibly heartening.

We meet every Monday 11.30-1.30 at New Oriel Hall in Larkhall. It’s £8 per session but we are passionate about making our sessions accessible to everyone, so if on any given week you can’t pay then please just let us know. We have a Whatsapp group for taking bookings where we put a shout out on a Thursday asking who would like to attend the following Monday. There is a small free carpark attached to the venue, plus free parking on the surrounding streets but the group is two hours for a reason. We know what it’s like having a young baby, if you are running late, have had a feeding/nappy or parking drama, then please don’t worry! Just come when you can!
The group starts with time to get a drink and snack and settle your baby, we then have an optional moment to share any wins or challenges from your week, followed by more time to break off into smaller groups and eat more cake and drink more tea!

Pregnancy cafe is a wonderful space for new mums and mums to be to come together and make connections and get support from one another and us. We meet very informally, once a month on a Friday morning in Bath and Bradford in Avon.

Noreen has been an NCT Antenatal facilitator for over 35 years and with our joint experience as Blossom educators, hypnobirthing practitioners and Doula’s, we are well equipped to gently hold and guide you on your pregnancy and birth journey. Our FREE Pregnancy workshops are a really popular way to meet other parents to be and ask questions and get support.
Our refresher antenatal workshops are a fantastic place to meet other parents going through this for the second or third time and update and refresh yourselves on birth and the early postnatal period.
