As you prepare for the birth of your baby, are you hoping to feel excited and a bit more connected?

Are you worried about how your past experiences might impact this one?

Do want to plan for a truly embodied and transformational birth, but you're not sure whether that is possible with the amount of external pressure you feel from the system and those around you?

I HEAR YOU….

Having supported families for over two decades, and having birthed my own babies during that time, I can see how changes in maternity services are impacting families' experiences. Coupled with our increasingly fast-paced society, less community support, and information at our fingertips 24/7, it strikes me that it's more important than ever to have an advocate by your side.

A grounded and steady support who can be your champion, hold space for you, and be a gentle buffer as you navigate your way through other people's opinions, an overwhelm of information, and a society whose trust in the innate ability of our bodies and babies has hugely decreased.

Whether you choose my full and comprehensive care as your doula, or you book onto one of my groups or private sessions ….I can offer you a quiet, reflective space to make choices that feel right for you and your family.

I wish for you a more empowered and sacred experience of pregnancy and birth, and a gentle and connected journey into parenthood.

I WISH FOR THAT TOO

ABOUT ME

I was incredibly fortunate to discover the magic of female-centered community early on—first as a young child growing up surrounded by a big family of women, and later in my early 20s when I trained as a perinatal yoga teacher with Birthlight. The experience was transformational and left me eager to dive deeper into the world of pregnancy and birth.

At the time, I was so lucky that the great, late, and incredible Michel Odent was still training doulas in London, where I lived. Even though it was unusual 20 years ago for a young person without children of their own to choose the doula path, I felt drawn to his woman-centered approach and his unwavering belief in the female body.

Fast forward 20 years—with three beautiful children of my own and the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of families through their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys—I'm still wide-eyed and in awe of the power of the body and the strength of mothers as they navigate this precious, raw, and all-consuming time of their lives.

Having lost my own beautiful mama at a young and tender age, I felt there was something truly cathartic about starting a family of my own. On one hand the deep sadness that came with birthing and parenting without your own mother to guide and hold you, but on the other hand, a healing…a sense that I was now creating my own family unit and being given an opportunity to heal those wounds.

Caring and nurturing is just part of me, what I do, and what I love, but if this resonates with you, if you are walking a similar path, then I would especially love to support you…no one’s experiences will be the same, but there can be something so comforting and supportive in being cared for and, “mothered”, by someone who truly gets it.

YES PLEASE I WOULD LOVE THIS KIND OF SUPPORT
