Are you expecting a baby in and around Corsham and Chippenham? The great news is that I live here too! As well as running local workshops for pregnancy and birth at Precision Pilates in Corsham, I am also really well placed to be on hand to come to you before, during and after the birth of your baby. Whilst i am more than happy to travel up to an hour for the families i support, there is something wonderfully comforting about having a really local Doula. We can fit in extra cuppa’s here and there in your pregnancy, I can come at short notice if you are having a wobble postnatally and I can come and go more easily during your early labour as well. Plus I have a whole host of wonderful local practioners up my sleeve and great spots to meet for walks and tea and cake as well…like my fave Mother and Wild in Corsham!

We are also super lucky to have the very handy Chippenham birth centre on our doorstep, This fantastic birth centre is a great happy medium if you don’t feel that home birth is for you but you would prefer to go to a midwife led centre rather than our obstetric led unit in Bath. Chippenham and Frome birth centres are also supported by our wonderful Hummingbird community team who will attend you there, as well as at home during your labour if you wish . The birth centre also has an open day from time to time as well as hosting the meet the midwife sessions, and many of you will already be familiar with it if you have your antenatal and postnatal appointments here.
